Automated Support for Battle Operational–Strategic Decision-Making

چکیده
Battle casualties are the subject of study in military operations research, which applies mathematical models to quantify probability victory vs. loss. In particular, different approaches have been proposed model course battles. However, none them provide adequate decision-making support for high-level command. To overcome this situation, paper presents an innovative model, uses adaptive and predictive control architecture. The reports empirical evidence supporting our by considering one greatest battles World War II: Crete.

Making Decision Support System for Utilization of Biogas in Iran
The use of renewable energy sources is often suggested to be a good solution for climate change and the dependency to fossil fuel. Biogas utilization is a one of these promising options that can mitigate these problems since biogas is produced by the fermentation of waste, so is rich in methane and has the same characteristics as natural gas. Biogas has increasingly been noticed in different co...
متن کاملSemi-automated decision making support for undocumented evolutionary changes
Long-living systems evolve under boundary conditions as diverse as the systems themselves. In the industrial practice of the production automation domain, for example, adaptations and even the initial engineering of control software are often performed without a formalized requirement specification [1]. Nevertheless, operators must decide during operation if such an undocumented change is consi...
متن کاملPreference Logics for Automated Decision Making
Classical decision theory provides a normative theory for representing and reasoning with complex preferences. But straightforward application of this theory to construct automated decision making agents is difficult due to the high cost of eliciting utilities. People tend to express their preferences in qualitative terms and have troubles translating them into numeric utilities. This difficult...
متن کاملAutomated Preference Elicitation for Decision Making
In the contemporary complex world decisions are made by an imperfect participant devoting limited deliberation resources to any decision-making task. A normative decision-making (DM) theory should provide support systems allowing such a participant to make rational decisions in spite of the limited resources. Efficiency of the support systems depends on the interfaces enabling a participant to ...
